Magnetic storage element
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the reading of storage information and to improve the stability of the storage information by arranging two superconductive films having a difference critical current above/below a conductor wire to form a superconductor ring thereby activating the diamagnetic current. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive layer is formed on a substrate, a conductor wire 1 is placed thereupon via an insulation layer, arranged on a superconductive pattern 3 in the direction X, the width is made thinner than the width 3 of the wire 1, a soft ferromagnetic film pattern 7 is formed thereupon, a conductor wire 2 is formed in the direction Y thereupon via an insulation layer and the wire 4 of the superconductive layer thereupon is in direct contact with the lower superconductive wire at a region where no wire 1 exists. Then a ring-shaped superconductive body is formed, which takes the Y axis as a ring-face normal while surrounding the magnetic substance. The critical current of the superconductive layer 3 is made smaller than that of the superconductive layer 4 and writing/reading is applied in response to the bias of the ring-shaped superconductor.
