Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To positively cut off an electric current flowing to a heater when the heater is upset, by positioning a pushing part in the upper portion of a pendulum body against a movable contact plate and constituting the pushing part so that the movable contact plate and a contact portion are detached from each other by the swing of the pendulum body. CONSTITUTION:A contact portion 11 extended from a fixed plate 7 has a second contact 10, and a movable contact plate 15 having a movable contact 9 in a position corresponding to said second contact 10 is provided in such a manner that the contact 10 and the contact 9 are freely detachable from each other. Beneath the movable contact plate 15 is provided a pendulum body 12 capable of freely swinging from a spherical body 17 engaged with a hole provided in a base plate 16, and the upper portion of the spherical body 17 has a protruding pushing part 13 which presses the movable contact plate 15 while the lower portion of the spherical body 17 is interconnected to a weight 12a. since the pendulum body 12 stands still in a vertical state when a stove is in use in an ordinary condition, the current flows through the movable contact 9 and the fixed contact 10, both being in a closed state. Even if the stove is upset in any directions, the pendulum body 12 moves the pushing part 13 by means of the working of the weight 12a, whereby the movable contact plate 15 is lowered to bring the movable contact 9 and the fixed contact 10 into an open state so as to cut off the current flowing therethrough.
