Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve vibration-resistant characteristics, by eliminating the influence of external vibration by loading a vibration detector on a device main body, and providing a means to increase the gain of an automatic control system which controls a pickup when the output of the detector exceeds a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When vibration having large acceleration is applied on the device main body, and it is propagated to a disk 1, and a pick-up 2, and a beam is displaced from a track, and an error signal is supplied from an error signal generation circuit 4 to a gain switcher 5. Meanwhile, a vibration detector 7 loaded on the main body detects the vibration, and when the output of the detector exceeds the specific value, a switcher 5 increases the gain of a tracking servo system by the signal of a level detector 8. Therefore, the error signal is amplified with the gain larger than a regular one, and it is supplied to the pickup 2 through a phase compensation and driving amplifier 6, and track jump is prevented. In such way, it is possible to improve the vibration-resistant characteristics eliminating the influence of the external vibration.
