Manufacture of wound core
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To easily and reliably remove the oxide grown between laminated layers when strain-removing annealing is performed and to contrive improvement in magnetic characteristics by a method wherein an annealing operation is performed on a wound core, and magnetic repulsive force, generated along the direction of lamination layer of a non- amorphous magnetic alloy thin strip, is brought into action in the wound core. CONSTITUTION:As oxygen and moisture are contained in the inert gas used in the atmosphere of annealing, an oxide is grown on the surface of the thin strip facing the gap located between laminated blocks 1A, 1B and 1C in a wound core 1 and also between the laminated layers of each block, and they are joined together through the intermediary of said oxide. Then, an electromagnet 5, whereon the exciting coil 7 to be connected to an AC power source 9 is arranged on a core 6. When a current is applied to the exciting coil 7 from the AC power source 9, the magnetic flux which passes the laminated layer blocks 1A and 1B of the wound core 1 is generated between the arm parts 6a and 6b of the core 6. When magnetic repulsion force works in the direction of laminated layers between the laminated layer blocks 1A and 1B, both of the blocks 1A and 1B are bent in such a manner that they are separated with each other by the thin piece 5 located at the corner part of the blocks as a supporting point. At that time, the oxide O located between the thin strip 2 and the laminated layers is removed by the exfoliating action generated on the oxide O.
