Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily input externally to an inverter by providing a digital switch for setting control information on a switch circuit substrate, and detachably providing it on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:An inverter is composed of a diode converter, a smoothing capacitor, an inverter main circuit, and a controller for controlling an output frequency. The controller is composed of a microcomputer and has setters 1-3 for setting various types of control information. It is provided on a switch circuit substrate 12 separate from the body circuit substrate 11 of the controller, and detachably provided through a connector 13 on the substrate 11. Thus, when control information is set by a manual operation, while the substrate 12 remains attached to the connector 13, its digital switches 1-3 are operated. When control information is set by the external controller, it is connected through an interface circuit substrate 14 instead of the substrate 12.
