Identifying method for internal combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable precise setting of a mathematical model of an internal combustion engine although it is of low order constitution, by a method wherein identification is effected based on a mathematical model being digitized by sampling at each specified crank angle of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A rotation speed omega, an intake air pressire P, a throttle opening S, and a load torque T of an internal combustion engine 2 are sampled at each specified crank angle, and further a mathematical model, digitized as shown in Fig, is set by means of a double value J of the rotation speed, and a ratio S/omega between the throttle opening and the rotation speed. Detection of the rotation speed omegak and the like is effected under a number of running conditions, and by using a minimum square method, an integral of excellentmost parameters alpha#<w>1-alpha<omega>4,alphaP1, alphaP2 and in the digitized mathematical model is determined by using a minimum square method for indification. This constitution enables execution of high-precise control throughout a wide range by means of a simple control law, and improves response especially in a high rotation speed area.
