Trace editing system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the logic flow of a trace editing processor and to facilitate the addition of trace information by making all the information for analyzing and editing trace information in a table. CONSTITUTION:When the trace editing processor 4 is requested to start, the trace information is read from a trace file 5 stored in an auxiliary storage device 2 into the trace information input area 4a in the trace editing processor 4 to be analyzed. After finding a necessary trace editing table 6, it is transferred to a trace editing table input area 4b. Afterwards a first trace analysis table 6a is obtained to be compared with the check data of the trace analysis table 6a and a coincident editing indication table 6b is obtained to be set in an editing output buffer 4c. After obtaining the next trace analysis table 6a the editing process is executed in the same way and when a trace analysis table pointer becomes zero the contents of the buffer 4 is outputted to an output device 3.
