Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate a complicated minimum pulse width obtaining circuit by initializing the phase value for calculating a pulse pattern in response to a lapse from the generation of a synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:After an AC power source 1 is converted by a converter 2 to a DC, it is supplied to an L-R load 4. A pattern generator 10 applies a pulse pattern to the converter 2 at a predetermined period asynchronously with the power source 1. A synchronizer 9 corrects a numeric value used in the generator 10 in response to the synchronizing signal obtained from the power source 1. Thus, a pulse pattern generation is executed asynchronously with the synchronization, and the phase value for calculating a pulse pattern is initialized in response to a lapse from the generation of the synchronizing signal.
