Optical information reader
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To read display information without bringing it into contact with another display information by designating a distance to an object, which an optical information reader can read, by overlapping two lightings. CONSTITUTION:When a lens 11 moves to the right, two arms in an LED mobile mechanism 15 move so as to close with a 2nd linkage part 15d as a center, which renders the optical axes of instructing LEDs 14a and 14b to point inward. Consequently a position where spot lighting by the instructing LED 14a and that by the instructing LED 14b overlap is practically close to an aperture 15b, and the position of a bar code 19 in response to the position of the lens 11 is designated. Since the image of the display information is formed on a photoelectric transfer element at the position where two or more lightings overlap, the display information can be read out.
