Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily form a molding excellent in decorativeness by a method wherein synthetic resin is formed at the peripheral part of a plate glass by arranging the plate glass within a mold, on the inner surface of which releasing agent is coated. CONSTITUTION:A plate glass 3 is located between a top force 1 and a bottom force 2. The peripheral top surface 4 of the plate glass 4, its peripheral undersurface 5 and its end surface 6 are molding-forming surfaces. Surfaces 7 ad 8 are non-molding-forming surfaces. Releasing agent is coated in advance on the inner surface 9, which faces to a cavity space 11, of the top force 1, and in the inner surface 10, which faces to the cavity space 11, of the bottom force 2 so as to improve the nonadherence of the solidified synthetic resin to the mold surface. Raw synthetic resin material is poured through a pourer in the parting line 12 of the top and the bottom forces in the cavity space 11. A molding 16 is formed through the solidification of the poured raw material.
