Float valve device for carburetor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate the vibration of a float and the unstabilization of an inflow of fuel, by forming the shaft of a float valve into a column shape and horizontal passages, communicating with a float chamber, in a cylindrical part, which surrounds said float valve, so that fuel is prevented from touching a float lever. CONSTITUTION:If fuel in a float chamber 1 decreases, a float 2 lowers turning a float lever 4 in a direction of lifting its one end part with a supporting axis 3 serving as the center, consequently a pressure of fuel in a fuel passage 5 opens a float valve 6 allowing the fuel to flow into the float chamber 1. In a carburetor in the above, the float valve 6 forms its shaft 8 in a column shape, and this valve shaft 8, providing in its upper and bottom a contact part 10 with the float lever 4 and a valve unit 11, is formed. While the float valve 6 is movably fitted to a cylindrical part 7, further the valve unit 11 can be brought into contact with and detached from a valve seat 12 of the cylindrical part 7. And the cylindrical part 7 provides in its bottom end part horizontal passages 13 through which the downstream side of the valve seat 12 communicates with the inside of the float chamber 1. In this way, the fuel is allowed to flow into the float chamber 1 from the horizontal passages 13 by opening the valve unit 11.
