Diaphragm expansion support device for diaphragm air pump

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve pumping performance, by engaging a ring member of which rigidity is changed by a change in its shape with the inner side of a ring-shaped projection integrally and projectingly connected with an outside circumference of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A concentric ring-shaped projection 4a is integrally and projectingly connected with a side surface of a diaphragm 4 along its outside circumference. A ring-shaped recessed groove 10A is defined on the side of a diaphragm mounting table 10. A ring member 12 of which rigidity is changed by a change in its shape is engaged with the inner side of a ring-shaped projection 4B. As a result, an elastic force corresponding to an amount of a load is securely maintained, whereby the maximum efficiency of a pump can be stably provided.
