Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent an image from bleeding and recording paper and the inside of a device from being stained, and to obtain an image of high quality by providing a latent image forming means, a developing means, and a recovery means which recovers part of developed toner without contact on an image formation body in this order in the moving direction of the formation body. CONSTITUTION:Toner T which constitutes a toner image on the image formation body 1 is scattered by an electric field established between a roller 35a and the image formation body 1. At this time, the scattered toner T is originally low in sticking force to the image formation body 1 and easy to move to the peripheral part of the image on the image formation body 1 or float in the device, but it sticks on the roller 35a, so those phenomena are reduced greatly. The toner sticking on the roller 35a is scraped off by a scraper 35b and stored in a toner recovery device 35 temporarily. This is thrown away at the time of maintenance. Consequently, toner suspension is eliminated to form an image of invariably high picture quality, reduce trouble, and facilitate the maintenance.
