Optical information recoding and reproducing device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To surely add specific information in one and same track by detecting the number of specific information recording sections in one track and then recording specific information. CONSTITUTION:At the time of writing a new directory to a track on which a directory 321d is stored and in case of reading a track having the directory 321d once in a direction F over the entire card length, the level of a signal 315-1 in outputs 315-1, 315-2 of a IGD 315 goes to a high level in response to the change in a demodulation signal 305-8 and the signal 315-2 goes to a high level for a prescribed time while detecting the trailing of the signal 315-1. As the writing method, after the directory 321d is read, in scanning the track in the direction F again without track change, the signals 315-1, 315-2 appear again similarly as the directory is read. Since one directory is used, when the signal 315-2 goes to a low level, the start of write of the new directory is started. Thus, the writing of plural directions in one track is attained.
