Rotary encoder
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an A-pulse displaying a fine displacement in the angle of rotation of a rotor and a Z-pulse displaying a specific angle of rotation, by providing a single track with an endless position row consisting of a plurality of positions. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 1, 2 output a ridge-shaped pulse waves only when they approach a mark and the ridge-shaped pulse waves are amplified and shaped by a shaping circuit 11a to become the shaping output J1 of the sensor 1 and the shaping output J2 of the sensor 2 and inputted to an OR circuit 13. The shaping output J1 of the sensor 1 is stopped at an angle of rotation of 0 deg. and the shaping output J2 of the sensor 2 is stopped at an angle of rotation of 40 deg. but the stop parts are compensated mutually by the outputs J1, J2 of the sensors 1, 2 and, therefore, an A-pulse PA not containing a part where output is stopped is obtained. Further, the output J1 is reversed by a NOT circuit 17 to obtain output K1 which is, in turn, inputted to an AND circuit 15 along with the output J2 of the sensor 2 to obtain a Z-pulse PZ.
