Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To process extended storage devices included in respective subsystems logically as one device by access request devices of respective subsystems by constructing a simultaneous writing type common extended system construction to respective extended storage devices. CONSTITUTION:When accesses from access request devices 13a, 13b to respective subsystems is specified, the data are written in the extended storage devices in the access generating subsystems and also transferred to all extended storage devices other than said extended storage devices through a writing bus 15 so as to be discriminated. Consequently, the data of the extended storage devices 10'a, 10'b can be used in common for the access request devices in respective subsystems, and plural extended devices can be processed as one extended storage device by respective access request devices.
