HA interface unit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To detect and discriminate not only a binary state of ON and OFF of a console unit, but also plural states, by varying a frequency of a terminal state signal in accordance with a state of the console unit. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction for turning on a console unit 3 flows to a home bus 1, an HA interface unit 2 inputs it to a logical operation means through a demodulating means 6. An operating means 5 turns on the unit 3 through a control means 7. The unit 3 modulates a terminal state signal 12 to a frequency f1 and outputs it to a state detecting means 8. The detecting means 8 discriminates the present state of the unit 3. In the same way, when the unit 3 is varied to some state, the terminal state signal 12 is modulated by a frequency f2 and outputted. The interface unit 2 detects is through the detecting means 8, and discriminates a state of the unit 3 by the operating means 5. In such a way, not only a binary state of ON and OFF of the console unit, but also plural states can be detected and discriminated.
