Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce a burden of a print server by queuing in advance only an ID of a sentence to be printed, to the print server, and leading out each data of a code image required at the time of printing its sentence, from a printing request origin. CONSTITUTION:When a prescribed work station requests printing of a prescribed sentence to a print server, only queue information is transferred to the print server. The print server monitors whether there is a printing request from the work station or not, and when the printing request is received, whether a dead part exists in a queue file or not is checked, and when the dead part exists, the queue information which is sent from the work stations 2-4 is registered in the queue file, a queue pointer QP is brought to an increment by '1', and a queue completion is informed to the work stations 2-4. Subsequently, the queue is read and a format file is read in from the work station, and each file of a table, a graph, etc. is read out through an LAN 1, and developed and printed out to an image memory.
