Hard electronic endoscope

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a light guide and a signal line from contacting a patient and to improve its operability by incorporating the light guide for lighting and an image pickup element and extending its signal line in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:Projection light from a light source device provided in a controller 19 is transmitted through a rotary color filter of three primary colors and passed through a connector 14, a flexible cable 13, an operation part 2, the light guide 5 made of a fiber bundle arranged in a hard electronic endoscope 1, and cover glass 6 to irradiate an object. Its reflected light forms an image on the image pickup surface of a solid-state image pickup element 9 through the cover glass 6, an objective lens 7, and a relay lens 8. Its output is sent to the controller 19 through the signal line 12 which extends backward to display an image on a color CRT 22.
