Information recording carrier consisting of thin sheet

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily realize maintenance of uniform quality with simple constitution by forming groove arrays or hole arrays to an aluminum side of a core material and forming a thin recording medium film and hard transparent resin layer on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thin aluminum sheet or thin plastic sheet formed with a vacuum deposited aluminum film on the surface of said sheet is used as the core material 1. The surface on the aluminum side thereof is pressed by a plunger die to provide the groove or hole arrays on the surface of the core material. The thin recording medium film 2 of a near Ir sensitive type is deposited by vapor evaporation on the surface thereof and further, the surface is coated with the hard resin 3. Plastic workability is thus improved, and high rigidity, moisture resistance and heat resistance are maintained.
