Human body tightening and protection method with expansion function

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To keep a driver's posture and prevent his/her collision with a steering wheel by making the shoulder and waist belts of a seat belt system from bag bodies, inflaming an explosive at the time of collision and expanding the bag bodies with an expansion gas from the inflamed explosive. CONSTITUTION:A hook ring inserted in a seat belt 1 is fixed to a hooking piece on a cabin floor and a shoulder belt (e) and a waist belt (f) protect a driver, thereby constituting a seat belt system. The shoulder belt (e) and the waist belt (f) are bag bodies of netted cylinder type and an explosive is inflamed upon impact of collision, thereby enabling the expansion of each bag body with an expansion gas from the inflamed explosive. The shoulder and waist belts of the seat belt system is made to have an air bag function as aforementioned, thereby not only protecting a driver at the time of collision, but also preventing his/her head and breast from colliding with a steering wheel and a windshield.
