Method for deciding arrangement of parts

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To roughly and directly decide the setting position of each parts without performing any hierarchical evolution processing, by deciding the parts arrangement areas on a circuit substrate for each macro parts. CONSTITUTION:A controller 60 receives the attraction of a macro parts on the highest hierarchy of the parts connection data as well as the entire area coordinates of a circuit substrate from an input device 50 and stores them in a partial area/macro gathering memory device 43 of a memory device 40. Then the controller 60 reads out the data on the device 43 if exist and transfers them to a partial area/macro gathering dividing device 70. In addition, the controller 60 receives a set of the partial areas of two substrates and the data on the gathering of macro parts and the attraction of each macro parts to store them in the device 43 and also stores the data on the gathering of the partial areas and the basic parts into a parts rough arrangement memory device 42.
