Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain automatic recording to a telephone call at the absence by executing a telephone call reply procedure through the use of an automatic answering reply management means and switching the facsimile device main body to the automatic ansering telephone set. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic reception state of a facsimile equipment main body, when a telephone call comes from a sender side and no reply is given thereto, an automatic reply control means A and the sender side execute the telephone reply procedure. When it is finished, the means A switches the changeover means to apply switching from the facsimile main body to the automatic answering telephone set. As a result, in the absence, automatic recording is applied in response to the telephone call and the facsimile offering high service is obtained.
