Television viewership status measuring device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To define more accurate audience rating of television by providing a detection part to collect data of person-number within the viewing range of a TV set and of individual identification, and providing a radiation wave information identifying part that identifies a person through radiated wave information from a human body. CONSTITUTION:The detection part 1 that collects the data of a person-number within the viewing range of a TV receiver and of individual identification, is provided. The part 1 is constituted of sensors to obtain the information of an existence in the viewing-range space. Also, a statistical processing part 2 is provided. A radiation wave information identifying part 3 is provided that identifies the existence of a person through deviation in frequency band or absolute value, etc., of such radiation wave information as infrared beams or electromagnetic waves radiated from a human body. Also, a response wave information identifying part 4 which radiates a laser beam, an infrared beam, an electromagnetic wave, supersonic wave, etc., toward a human body, receives wave information deviated corresponding to the human body, and statisticaly processes the merging and ordering of response information. Also it is provided with a direction detection part 5 constituted of detection body to recognize the transmission directivity, and with an entering/leaving detection part 6 to detect the entering/leaving of a parson to/from the viewing-range space. Single piece or plural pieces of the above-mentioned respective parts are combined and connected. As a result, the status of the individual viewing of TV by a viewer can be measured.
