Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To surely prevent erroneous operation of an air-bag by energizing a warning circuit when an air-bag module is removed from a steering wheel so as to operate an alarm with the use of power from an auxiliary power source circuit to lower the potential of the auxiliary power source circuit. CONSTITUTION:An air-bag module M has an operating circuit C for energizing an ignition device 8 for an inflator I when power is fed from a main power source Em on the vehicle body side, a switch S which is closed when a decelera tion exceeding a predetermined value is exerted to the vehicle body, and an auxiliary circuit Es connected to the circuit C in parallel with the main power circuit Em. In this arrangement, the module M incorporates a device 14 for preventing erroneous operation of the module M when the module M is removed from a steering wheel. Further, the preventing device 14 is composed of an alarm 15 and a warning circuit 16 for energizing the alarm 15 by the power of the auxiliary power circuit Es so as to energize the alarm 15.
