Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the number of parts, to simplify a device, and to lower cost, by fixing a dielectric filter mechanically on an integrated metallic case on which a hole to insert an input/ output terminal is provided, with a conductive coupling material. CONSTITUTION: Plural through holes 22 and 23 are formed on a dielectric block 21, and internal conductors 24 and 25 are formed on inner planes of the through holes 22 and 23, and an external conductor is formed on an external side plane, and the internal conductors 24 and 25, and the external conductor 26 are short-circuited by a short circuit conductor 26a formed at the edge on one side of the dielectric block 21. A cavity 27 to couple between each resonant unit is formed at the part of the dielectric block between each resonant unit, and a capacitance based on external cylinders 33 and 34 consisting of a dielectrics in the periphery of input/output terminals 31 and 32, constitutes an input/output coupling capacitor. Thus, since structure to contain a dielectric filter 11 is constituted only by using the metallic case 12 molded with a plate- shape metallic member, and a conductive coupling material, it is possible to remarkably reduce the number of parts.
