Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacturing of the title apparatus and to perform electrical connection with uniform surface pressure, by providing the through- holes of an intermediate electrode body at the interval corresponding to the lattice of a printed circuit board and forming electrodes through the through- holes. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for inspecting the continuity state of a printed circuit board 5, through-holes 2A are provided between elastomers 1, 3 electrically connected only in the thickness direction at the time of (non-)pressurization at the intervals corresponding to the fundamental lattice of the board 5 to be inspected and an aggrigate provided with an intermediate electrode body 2 having a plurality of electrodes 2B, 2C connected through the through-holes 2A is mounted. Then, the board 5 and the aforementioned aggregate are positioned on a table 7 and the surface of the elastomer 1 is pressed by the connection terminal 4A of a terminal holding plate 4 and the continuity of the terminal LA and the conductive part 5A to be inspected of the board 5 is taken to inspect said conductive part 5A. Further, the electrode body 2 is pref. composed of a flexible substrate.
