Cyclohepta(b)quinoline derivative

Abstract

Abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R<1>-R<5> are simultaneously H, at least one of R<6>-R<8> is F, CF3, OH, phenyl, the rests are H, halogen, CF3, lower alkyl; or at least one of R<1>-R<5> is H, halogen, CF3 lower alkyl, lower cycloalkyl, amino, phenyl; R<9> is H, lower alkyl, aralkyl) and its acid adduct. EXAMPLE:11-Amino-1-fluoro-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6H-cycloheptane[b] quinoline. USE:A remedy for senile dementia. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of a com pound of formula II (R<11>-R<13> are H, halogen, CF3, lower alkyl) with another compound of formula III.
