Light guide device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized light guide device where optical axes of optical fibers are satisfactorily arranged and the luminous intensity distribution is excellent, by nonlinearly bending plural optical fibers on the way between the incidence part of light of a spot light source and a linear light radiating part and providing a part where optical fibers are adhered to one another and a part where they are not adhered. CONSTITUTION:Plural optical fiber sheets 2 in each of which both end parts of optical fibers 3 are fixed with an adhesive by adhesive fixing parts 1 are assembled. Since optical fiber sheets 2 are different from one another in the length from a binding part 5 as the light incidence part of the spot light source to a binding part 6 which forms the linear arrangement part of optical fibers 3, optical fiber sheets 2 are made different in length. Optical fiber sheets 2 are bent on the way from the binding part 5 to the binding part 6 to form non-linear parts. In the case of assembling, parts 4 to which curvatures are given are not adhered neither fixed. Thus, stress concentration does not occur and the preservation state of luminous intensity distribution is satisfactory, and luminous intensity distribution of the light emitted from optical fibers is not disturbed.
