Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form correctly the circulation route of a developer, to remove uneven carrying of the developer and to remove uneven concentration by sufficient stirring, by forming a threshold plate on a drop part from a developer feeding screw to a return screw room in a developing container. CONSTITUTION:The developer in the developer container 21 is stirred while being circulated, carried by a feeding screw 44 and the threshold plate 32 is arranged between a sleeve 22 and the sidewall of the developer container 21 on the upper side of an aperture part 38 for delivering the developer into the room 42 of the return screw 46. The course to return the developer to be dropped from the feeding screw 44 into the return screw room 42 to the sleeve 22 by the influence of a magnet 23 in the sleeve 22 is interrupted by the threshold plate 32 to drop the developer into the screw room 42. Consequently, uneven concentration can be removed.
