Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the elogation to low frequency and to very easily assemble it by using a frothing material which is rich in the resilient force as an elastic spporter for supporting the outer periphery of a piezoelectric sound emitting body and packing ling both the surface and the rear of the frothing material with adhesive layers. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric speaker 1 consists of a ring-shape speaker frame 2 formed with resin, etc., the piezoelectric sound emitting body 3 in a bending vibration shape and the elastic suppoter 4 for supporting the piezoelectic sound emitting body 3 in the speaker frame 2. The elestic supporter 4 consists of the foamed substance 8 which is obtained by forming the frothing material, such as frothed polyurethane foam or frothed polyethylene foam, etc., in a ring shape and a pair of adhesive layers 9 and 10 made of urethane system, acryl system, etc. which are formed on both the surface and the rear of the foamed substance 8. In case of assembling the piezoelectric speaker the speaker, frame 2 is allowed to contact with the adhesive layer 9 of the rear face of the frothing material 8 to fix it, and next the piezoelectric sound emitting body 3 is allowed to contact with the adhesive layer 10 of the surface of the frothing material 8 to fix it. Namely, the speaker frame 2 or the piezoelectric sound emitting body 3 need not be made to invert, so that it is easy to assemble the speaker.
