Mobile vector detection circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the accumulated addition and to miniaturize a hardware by reading plural representative points from a representative point memory holding the representative point for one frame period, applying arithmetic operation with an input signal picture element inputted in a block corresponding to respective representing points so as to detect the moving quantity. CONSTITUTION:A representative point memory 112 holding the representative point by one frame period, and a moving quantity detection means reading plural representative points from the memory 112 and applying arithmetic operation with the input signal picture element inputted to the block corresponding to respective representing point to detect the moving quantity are provided. In reading plural representative points from the representative point memory 112, the arithmetic operation with the representative point with respect to an input video signal is equal to the arithmetic operation by overlapping blocks having a prescribed delay horizontally and vertically. Thus, as the result of arithmetic operation for plural representative points, an output equal to the plural number of times of accumulated addition without address control is obtained by applying addition after a prescribed delay.
