Power transmission device for automobile
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To selectively transmit power to any one of a plurality of operation shaft by means of a single motor by installing, on a rotor, a motor to one side of the output shaft of which a solenoid clutch for self-rotation and No.1 solenoid clutch for power transmission are connected and to the other side thereof No.2 solenoid clutch is connected for power transmission respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a situation in which power is transmitted to a certain set of 2 mutually opposing operation shafts 30 among even number of operation shaft 30 pivoted on a base frame 10, is switched to another situation in which power is transmitted to another set of operation shafts 30 oppositing to each other, power transmitting solenoid clutches 60, 61 on both output shafts 41, 42 of a motor 40 shaft shall be put in off state to release their engagements with clutch plates 31, and a self-rotation solenoid clutch 50 is put in On state to make a gear 51 mesh with a rack gear 15. Then, the motor 40 shall be driven to rotate a rotor 20 until the corresponding recesses 70 engage with stopper balls 71. Then the motor 40 shall be stopped, a self-rotation solenoid clutch 50 shall be put in off state, and the power transmitting solenoid clutches 60, 16 shall be put in ON state so as to connect output shaft 41, 42 to operation shafts 30, 30. Thus, a plurality of operation can be put in action by means of a single motor so that a space for installation may be reduced.
