Humidifying and dehumidifying device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform humidify and dehumidify rooms freely by a method wherein absorption and desorption of moisture in the air are achieved by a pressure swing method in a plurality of absorbent packed towers to obtain dry air and wet air and they are released into the rooms by means of a multiple flow passage change valve. CONSTITUTION:The wet air in a room 4 is transferred to an absorbent packed tower 2a in a pressurized condition through lines 6, 8, and 12 and the wet air becomes dry air after the moisture in the air is absorbed and removed by absorbent 1 and then the dry air is released into the room 4 through lines 16, 20, a four-way valve 21, and a line 32 to dehumidify the room 4. When the room inside is humidified, the water content in the air supplied from the room outside 5 is adsorbed by the tower 2a and the dry air flows from the tower 2a and is discharged outside the room through liens 18, 20, the valve 21, and a line 33 and on the other hand, the wet air containing much water content desorbed in a packed tower 2b is released into the room through liens 28, 31, the valve 21, and a line 32.
