Magnetic disk device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To avoid thermal distribution in the titled device by sealing a fluorine- based inactive liquid in the enclosed package to prevent the evaporation, transfer and scattering of a lubricant and eliminating the effect of external humidity completely. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk 1, a spindle 13 loading and driving the magnetic disk 1, a magnetic head 2 applying recording/reproduction to the driven magnetic disk 1 and an actuator 4 to be driven on the magnetic disk 1 driving the magnetic head 2 are stored in the enclosed package 5 and a fluorine-based inactive liquid 6 is sealed in the enclosed package 5. Thus, the evaporation, transfer, scattering of the lubricant are eliminated, the effect of the external humidity is eliminated and the thermal distribution in the device is lost, then the magnetic disk device without any change in wear resistance for a long time, adsorption and corrosion and thermal off-track with high reliability is obtained.
