Photoreceptive member for electrophotography
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To stabilize electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics and durability by using a non-single crystal material consisting of silicon atoms as its base body and contg. either of hydrogen atoms and halogen atoms to constitute an electric charge injection blocking layer, charge generating layer and charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:This photoreceptive member 100 for electrophotography has a base 101 and a photoreceptive layer 102 having the layer constitution laminated, successively from the base side, with a long wavelength light absorption layer 103, The change injection blocking layer 104, the charge generating layer (CGL) 105 and the charge transfer layer (CTL) 106 on the base 101. The charge injection block layer 104, the CGL 105 and the CTL 106 are constituted of the non-single crystal material consisting of the silicon atoms as its base body and contg. at least either of the hydrogen atoms and halogen atoms. The CTL 106 has the part contg. the material which contains at least one kind among carbon atoms, nitrogen atoms and oxygen atoms and controls conductivity in the nonuniformly distributed state in the layer thickness direction. The electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics are thereby stabilized at all times.
