Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate gathering operation by feeding a discrimination form without taking a set number of copies when a copy start button is pressed in paper feed mode and resetting the paper feed mode when forms are fed by the number. CONSTITUTION:When a sorting process routine starts in a step 220, the 3rd microcomputer executes a step 221 to decide whether a sorting mode is entered or not, and returns to a main routine from a step 222 when not. The 3rd microcomputer decides whether sheets of paper are discharged to a tray by an input set number or not and sets an overflag to PHI when sheets of paper are discharged to the tray by the input set number. Further, the 3rd microcomputer starts a timer SA for sorter motor stopping when inputting a signal indicating the rear end of paper passes through the discharge sensor of a copying machine body.
