Transfer device for lead frame

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately position lead frames having different transfer distance, by sensing a sensing mark of a lead frame by a prescribed sensor of a line sensor having a plurality of sensors for stopping a drive motor. CONSTITUTION:A lead frame 12 moves on a guide rail 11 in a direction shown by an arrow so that it cuts off illuminated light from an illuminating body 22 to a line sensor 20. Then, light passes only through positioning holes 15 provided as a sensing mark on opposite sides of the lead frame 12. The position through which the light passes is moved in a direction A successively as the lead frame 12 moves. The transmitted light is senses by sensors 21a-21l successively and entered into a controller. The controller stops a drivnig motor when the prescribed sensor 21a-21l sense the positioning holes 15 to be entered. Thus, an accurate transfer positioning can be made.
