Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To discriminate a paper feeding tray in service in an easy manner, by installing a displaying device indicating a fact that the tray is in service. CONSTITUTION:Supposing that a feed tray being selected at present is an upper state feed tray 15, a central processing unit 31 controls a tray display driver 39, turning an upper stage service LED of an upper state display part 41 to ON, and a service lamp of the upper stage feed tray 15 is lighted and displayed. To this operation, if a mid stage feed tray 16 is in service, the CPU 31 lights a service lamp of a mid stage display part 42 being built in the mid stage feed tray 16, and if a lower stage feed tray 17 is in service, it lights a service lamp of a lower stage display part 43 being built in the lower stage feed tray 17. When lighting of these service lamps is started, the CPU 31 abides the rising of process control relations and a vacuum motor 45, then it starts the copying sequence.
