Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce an operating force, prevent rattling, and lower frictional sound by providing a pair of side members on a guide rail and carrying out guide by means of a pair of resin rollers and one metal roller which is energized toward one of said side member, in a guide device for an up-and-down type window glass of a car door. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 4 is formed into a U-shape with a base member 6 and a pair of side members 7, 8. On the other hand, a pair of resin rollers 13, 14 and a metal roller 22 positioned in between the resin rollers 13, 14, which is energized toward the side member 8 side by means of a rotating lever 18 and an energizing means 29 and which is vertically movable with respect to the side member 8, are installed on a carrier plate 9 installed on a window glass. And, the resin rollers 13, 14 are rotatingly moved along the side member 7 of the guide rail 4 and the metal roller 22 is rotatingly moved along the side member 8, to guide the movement of the window glass. By this construction, an operating force can be reduced, frictional sound can be suppressed, and rattling can be prevented.
