Multifunctional telephone set

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically dial for telephone numbers not registered to a telephone set and enable unspecified users to utilize function of automatic dialing by giving telephone numbers registered beforehand to a telephone set as optical data and thereby making dialing possible. CONSTITUTION:When abbreviated number for telephone number registered beforehand in a dial number registering device 5 is inputted from a key inputting section 6, the telephone number is read out from a RAM 53, and converted to the optical data by a optical conversion outputting section 54, and the optical data are given to a optical conversion inputting section 13 of the telephone set 1. The optical conversion inputting section 13 converts the optical data to telephone number. The dial signal is sent out to a telephone circuit 9 through a CPU 14 and a circuit network switching device 15. In the case where telephone number registered beforehand to the telephone set 1 is to be changed or telephone number is to be registered to the telephone set 1 anew, required telephone number and command for change of number or new registration are given from the dial number registering device 5 to the telephone set 1 as light data.
