Printing unit washing device of printer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the plate cylinder or ink pan of each printing unit of a photogravure printer to be automatically washed and the feed and recovery of a washing solvent to be performed effectively by providing a washing solvent injector, an unwasted solvent tank, a solvent feeding piping, a wasted solvent tank, a solvent recycling piping and a reclaiming device. CONSTITUTION:In each printing unit 3, a washing solvent is supplied to each piping unit 10 from an unwasted solvent tank which hermetically seals the upper surface of an ink pan 5 and a plate cylinder through a solvent supply main 16 and a solvent feeder pipe 20, then is supplied to a plate shaft nozzle 6 by a gear pump 13 to wash the plate cylinder. The plate surface is washed with a plate surface nozzle 7 by actuating a plate surface gear pump 23. The interior of the ink pan 5 is washed through an ink pan nozzle 8. A wasted solvent accumulated in the ink pan is recycled into a wasted solvent tank 19 by a pump 30 through a piping unit 10, a solvent recovery pipe 25 and a recovery main 17. The wasted solvent is charged and reclaimed automatically from the wasted solvent tank 19 to a reclaiming device, then is stored into a solvent tank 18.
