Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To control an antenna selecting device which is constituted in a different housing from a radio transmitter, to reduce connections between devices, and to improve operability by sending out an antenna code generated by the radio transmitter to the antenna selecting device, and selecting an antenna according to the code. CONSTITUTION:An antenna code sending means consists of switches Q1 and Q2, an encoder 19, and a selection end signal receiver 20. Antenna data is stored in a RAM 7. Band data ABC and an antenna data DEF generated by a key matrix 5 with a band selection button BKn and a push button Km are written in respective memories. The antenna code SGa is generated by the encoder 19 on the basis of the data DEF and sent out to a transmission line through a switch Q1 and a terminal 20a. The antenna selecting device 1 receives the code SGA by a selection end code receiver 21 and decodes it by a decoder 22. Then, one of relays Sn operates, its operation is checked by a check circuit 23b, and a switch Q4 operates through a time constant circuit 23a, so that the selection end code SGb is received by a receiver 20 through the terminal 20a and a switch Q4, thereby setting a flip-flop FF. When the FF is not set, the code SGa is sent out again.
