Storage device for activity log

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To secure a required activity log even in a small tracer memory capacity by storing the activity state of a device when the specified micro instruction of a microprogram is executed. CONSTITUTION:The microprogram is stored at a control store 11 and at a control store register 12, a microprogram language in execution is held. A comparison part 13 compares, with the timing of an updating indication 16, the micro instruction of the microprogram language in execution stored at the control store register 12 with at least one or more micro instruction held in advance at an instruction register 14. And when the condition is satisfied, an updating indication 9 is outputted and the content of a write register 1 is stored at an area represented by an address 6 in a tracer memory 2.
