Image forming method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form a visible image having good durability to resins and a god shelf life by using a two-component developer in which a resin mixture formed by mixing a crosslinkable polyester resin and epoxy resin is used as a binder and the toner has a specific frictional electrostatic charger quantity in the frictional charge with a carrier. CONSTITUTION:The two-component developer in which the toner contains the crosslinkable polyester resin and epoxy resin of 1,500 epoxy equip. and contains the binder having 90wt% content of the epoxy resin with respect to the binder and the absolute value of the charge quantity by the friction of the toner with the carrier is <25muc/g is used. The crosslinkable polyester resin constituting the toner is obtd. by polymerizing a monomer compsn. in which at least either of a polyhydric alcohol and polyvalent acid contains multifunctional components larger than trivalent. The content ratio of the epoxy resin is <=90wt%, more preferably 50-85wt% by the weight of the binder.
