Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To activate adsorptive function of a canister by furnishing a negative pressure opening/closing valve to open and close a load lead-in passage, an atmosphere opening/closing valve to open and close an atmosphere releasing hole in the housing and an evaporated fuel opening/closing valve to open and close an evaporated fuel lead-in passage. CONSTITUTION:An evaporated fuel adsorbing device 20 adsorbs and capture the evaporated fuel with a canister 22 consisting of activated coal, and the captured fuel is attracted to a suction passage 6. During full close deceleration, an evaporated fuel lead-in pipe 26 and an atmosphere releasing hole 40 are both shut off, and meantime the housing 24 is put in communication with said suction passage 6 through a negative pressure lead-in pipe 42, and the evaporated fuel adsorbed to the canister 22 is forced to segregate. When back into other operating conditions than the full close deceleration, the evaporated fuel segregated to canister 22 is attracted to the suction passage 6. Thus the adsorbing function of the canister is activated.
