Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To expand the field of view of a back door by forming a back door frame having an U-shaped section, covering both sides of the frame with a rear window glass and receiving a damper stay in an U-shaped recess when the back door is closed. CONSTITUTION:Both sides 5, 5 of a back door frame 4 are formed to have an U-shaped section and an U-shaped recess 5a directed to the compartment is bonded to both side edges of a rear window glass 6 to be subjected to ceramic painting. And to the U-shaped recess 5a of the frame 4 is pivotably connected a rod of a damper stay 7. Thus, when a back door 3 is closed, the damper stay 7 is received in the U-shaped recess 5a so that the area of an opening 2 in the rear of a car body can be expanded to improve the field of view in the rear.
