Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To display the charge balance which can be copied on an IC card by enploying the IC card having the data of conditions capable of executing the prescribed number of times of copying action. CONSTITUTION:An IC card is inserted into the card inserting port of the electronic copying machine. Next, when the person in charge sets the copying mode such as the number of sheets of copy and pushed down a printing key, the copying action is executed by the conditions set by the copying mode. On the other hand, when the electric power source is supplied from a connector part 4 of the IC card, a control part 3c reads the charge, which can be copied and remained from a programable read on memory PROM 3b and writes it in an RAM 3f. When the amount of the RAM 3f is the prescribed amount which can be copied, the signal which can be copied is sent to the control part 3c and copied. The copying charge corresponding to the data of the copy mode is calculated, substracted from the amount remaining in the RAM 3f, and the remaining charge which can be copied is displayed at a displaying part 5. Consequently, the exclusive-use machine to display the charge is not provided and the charge which can be copied is appreciated.
