Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To control stably the transmission and the reflection of the middle stage and to make fast the action speed by forming optionally the light transmitting part and the light non-transmitting part in the same cell. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 5 is grounded, an electrode 6 is connected to an electric power source 11, and the voltage pressured by resistors 12 and 13 is impressed to an electrode 8. For the external circuit to rotate an under plate 3 of a cell to 90 deg., the wiring connected to the electrode 8 is grounded and an electric power source 14 of an alternating current is further connected to the circuit connected to resistors 12 and 13 for pressuring. The direct current electric power source is used for the electric power source 11 and connected to electrodes 5 and 6 on an upper plate 2. To respective electrodes of one side plate 2 and other side plate 3, the operation to impress the prescribed frequency and the polarity voltage is repeated at the necessary period. In such way, the area and the shape of the light transmitting part and the light non-transmitting part in the same cell can be optionally changed by the voltage to impress from the external part and the action speed can be made fast.
