Camera capable of trimming photography

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate an error in exposure even during trimming photography with simple constitution by making the angle of view of the light measurement range of a light measurement system smaller than that of the photographic lens to the range of trimming during the trimming photography. CONSTITUTION:This camera is switched to a normal photographic mode in which a normal photographic range is photographed and three kinds of trimming modes. Then, a range B1 is photographed over the entire film by the photographic lens 20 and printed in the normal photographic mode. The angle of view of the photographic lens 20 to this minimum print range B2 is denoted as alpha. On the other hand, the light measurement system consisting of a light measuring lens LS, a filter F, and a photodetecting element is arranged behind a light measurement window 22. When the angle of view of this light measurement system is denoted as beta, settings are made so that alpha>=beta. Consequently, the light measurement range is positioned within a range to be printed without fail, and light measurement information corresponding to the range to be printed is obtained accurately even during trimming photography.
